Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Forge application and related services ("Service") operated by us ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Forge, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our End User License Agreement.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 10 years old to use Forge. Users aged 10-16 require parental or guardian consent where required by local law. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or offensive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with premium feature restrictions or security measures
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Service
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers/networks connected to it

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of content you create or upload (progress photos, workout notes, profile information, profile pictures). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, back up, and display this content solely to provide the Service to you.

Profile pictures are publicly visible to other users (on your profile, leaderboards, and groups you join). By uploading a profile picture, you confirm it does not contain offensive, illegal, or infringing content. We strip location metadata from uploaded images.

Group content: When you join a group, your workout summaries (date, exercise count, volume, PR count) are visible to other group members. Detailed workout data (specific weights, sets, body measurements) is never shared.

Invite codes: Groups use invite codes to control access. If you share an invite code or link, anyone with that code can request to join the group. You are responsible for distributing invite codes only to intended recipients.

You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit. We do not claim ownership of your content. See ourCopyright Policy for takedown procedures.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

5. AI Features — Important Disclaimer

AI-generated analysis, recommendations, training programmes, injury assessments, and recovery estimates are for informational and entertainment purposes only.They do not constitute medical, nutritional, physiotherapy, or professional fitness advice.

  • Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions based on AI output
  • AI recommendations are generated from general patterns and may not account for your specific medical conditions, injuries, or limitations
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
  • You use AI features at your own risk

6. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Forge offers free and premium tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. For full billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund details, see ourSubscription Terms.

We reserve the right to modify premium pricing or the features included in each tier with reasonable advance notice. Changes do not affect your current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Forge application — including its code, design, graphics, Solo Leveling-inspired visual elements, engine system, progression mechanics, and brand identity — is our intellectual property or used under license. All rights not explicitly granted in these Terms are reserved.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe abuse
  • You may delete your account at any time via Settings, which permanently removes all your data (seePrivacy PolicySection 7)
  • Termination does not automatically cancel active subscriptions — cancel through your app store first

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any injuries sustained during workouts.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid for premium features in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 50, whichever is greater

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (e.g., liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles.

For EU consumers: you may also rely on mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. You have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Before pursuing formal dispute resolution, we encourage you to contact us to attempt to resolve the issue informally.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account.
